The info Technology & Information Technology Enabled Services (IT-ITeS) sector could be a field that is undergoing fast evolution and is dynamic in the form of business standards globally. This sector includes package development, consultancies, package management, on-line services, and business process outsourcing (BPO).

The Indian Technology Start-up landscape has evolved to become the fourth largest base across the world. Since 2010, there has been a significant rise in the number of technology start-ups and today, our country hosts more than 3,000 tech/digital start-ups. If the landscape continues to evolve at this pace, then by the end of 2020 more than 11,500 start-ups are expected to get established in India, generating employment opportunities for over 250,000 people.


The year 2019 has been phenomenal for India and its vibrant start-up ecosystem. While the Indian start-up ecosystem continues to be the third largest in the world, it saw 7 new additions to its incessantly flourishing Unicorn club. There are multiple levers propelling this remarkable growth of the ecosystem that are bolstering the Indian start-ups as well as creating an environment conducive for continued innovation.
