Companies are adopting the top-down hierarchy and favor decentralized management models. Zappos, Medium, AirBnB, Uber and other famous companies are striking examples of successful Holacracy system implementation. The adoption of this fresh model made them more flexible, adaptable, responsive to change hence creating great company culture.
Holacracy is claimed to increase agility, efficiency, transparency, innovation and accountability within an organization. The approach encourages individual team members to take initiative and gives them a process in which their concerns or ideas can be addressed which helps in team bonding.
