Let us take a look at what the book has for us.
Must Read: Buy Then Build By Walker Deibel
About the Book:
All the following questions will be answered in the book Lost and Founder:
How to create a tech startup?
How to raise funds for your startup?
How to improvise your product?
This book gives a completely honest look at startup life. He expresses in the book that being a CEO of a startup is such a (shitty) job. He elaborated that a CEO’s time is divided into tasks, such as hiring, attending conferences, and fundraising, as obstructed to formulating the product that ignited their passion in the first place.
Lost and Founder is a complete guide for someone who wants to enter into the startup world, as the title implies. But its tone shifts slightly in the later chapters. His exit from the company he spent 15 years building was not entirely peaceful. This underlying sentiment is at odds with the overall tone that the book ascribes to, that is, to give a transparent and objective impression of entrepreneurship.
All in all, the book is a great resource for aspiring entrepreneurs but requests less value to those who have already set off on their trip, even if his spirited writing style makes for a desirable read.
