About the Book:

Daniel Kahneman goes over the two strategies found in our mind, that can make or break our capacity to move forward and achieve in life, in his book Thinking, Fast and Slow. He addresses the fast and emotional system and the slow, a more reasonable system that makes up our whole mind. He breaks down the numerous effects of each strategy on our success, mentality, confidence, and teachability index. In the highly expected Thinking, Fast and Slow, Kahneman takes us on a groundbreaking tour of the mind and explains the two systems that drive the way we think. System 1 is fast, spontaneous, and emotional; System 2 is slower, more contemplating, and more logical. Kahneman uncovers the extraordinary capabilities and also the drawbacks and biases of fast thinking, and reveals the pervasive significance of intuitive impressions on our opinions and behavior. The impact of loss revulsion and overconfidence on corporate techniques, the difficulties of indicating what will make us happy in the future, the challenges of properly formulating risks at work and home, the genuine effect of cognitive biases on everything from playing the stock market to scheduling the next vacation each of these can be comprehended only by understanding how the two procedures work together to shape our judgments and decisions. Engaging the reader in a vibrant conversation about how we think, Kahneman reveals where we can and cannot confidence our intuitions and how we can tap into the advantages of slow thinking. He requests practical and enlightening insights into how intentions are made in both our business and our personal lives—and how we can use several techniques to guard against the mental glitches that often get us into trouble. Thinking, Fast and Slow will renovate the way you think about thinking
